ORCHESTRA

The South Shore Chamber Orchestra offers middle school students a journey into the world of orchestral music. Rehearsals are dedicated to a wide range of orchestral compositions, from classical pieces to contemporary works, fostering artistic growth and ensemble cohesion. Engaging field trips provide students with firsthand exposure to diverse musical traditions and cultures. Students showcase their talent and dedication through performances at concerts and festivals throughout the year.

Our aim as boosters is to assist in sustaining this program, ensuring that each student has the chance to participate. Numerous students lease instruments from the school and sometimes need help with the maintenance and care, such as reeds, strings, drum heads, and more. The boosters are proud to support our talented musicians by helping with concert wear, sound equipment, stage setup, and music whenever possible.
